Up for your viewing and bididng pleasure is a very old and beautiful fire extinguisher grenade. It is full of chemicals and in excellent condition. It is embossed fire extinguisher grenade on one side, and on the other side it is embossed patented no 1 aug 8, 1871, aug 14 188? Last # si missing. It would make a great addition to any fire equipment collection. I am selling this as is due to the ebbossed print that is missing. It is a beautiful piece of glass and frie history. Ron. 10-1-10 informed me that. This is a hayward quilted footed extinguisher. It is filled with a salt water solution, nto chemicals. Thanks fro the info.
