Cairns N5a Leather Fire HelmetI have a cairns n5a new york style leather fire helmet. Was used for 6 of my 8 years as a fire fighter. Has not seen a lot of heat, but has taken some abuse. The eagle on the front is a ltitle bent, you should be able to straighten out. It also has a ratchet fitting system, my head was an odd size, was never able to get it to fit right with out it. I upt it in so i no you will be able to take it out if you want. I believe that it is a size medium/large. I haven't been a fire fighter for 4 years now. It is a shame to see it on a shelf and not in a fire protecting someones head.
